A former midwesterner The Prof took up racing relatively late and is working on making up lost time. Married with four kids and a professor at Union Theological Seminary, he started racing in 2007 and recently upgraded to cat. 3 in 2009. His wife, Colleen, also a professor and also a racer, supports him in his passion, as do his sometimes bemused kids. Specialties: an all-rounder, with particular strength in time-trials, lead-outs for our teams' great sprinters, and stage races.
Notable Results in 2009: won Sandy Hook TT, 3rd in the Syracuse Stage Race TT and 6th in the Road Race for 6th place overall at Syracuse, 2nd in the Tour de Cielo TT and 1rst in the Tour de Cielo Road Race for a Stage Race win at Cielo, won the opening TT in the 45+ field at the Tour de Millersburg (6th overall in the Stage Race)
